The Challenge

Pocket Network had spent five years building a high-performance data infrastructure platform: a decentralized API gateway that routes data requests across thousands of independent nodes worldwide, providing redundancy and uptime guarantees that single-provider architectures cannot match. The technology was proven. What they needed was scale.

The core problem was top-of-funnel throughput and conversion. Product launches generated short-lived visibility but didn’t compound. Press coverage spiked and faded. Developer interest existed but lacked a structured pipeline. The issue wasn’t effort. It was integration.

Truth Cartel was brought in to build and operate a growth engine where:

  • Every launch fed PR, social, partners, and developer channels simultaneously

  • Every asset had multiple downstream uses across the marketing stack

  • Every month compounded on the last

The Strategy & Results

Truth Cartel ran Pocket Network’s growth across four strategic pillars:

  • Product Marketing: Translate platform capabilities into adoption-ready narratives and clearly defined use cases

  • Program Marketing: Create repeatable pipelines for developers and ecosystem participants

  • Partner Marketing: Extend discoverability and distribution through substantive integration partners

  • Thought Leadership: Use earned media and social channels to build executive credibility and category authority

Over 11 months, we built credibility through earned media, converted content and social into lead generation assets, and managed community relations during major product milestones.

The Playbook

1. Content That Compounds

Most companies treat content as disposable. Truth Cartel produced 35+ long-form, reference-grade articles designed to serve multiple functions at once, and positioned Pocket Network’s website as a go-to resource for specialized technical information. SEO improved across search engines, social platforms, and LLM discovery.

Every piece supported media pitching and executive interviews, developer onboarding and community distribution, and partner enablement conversations. A single asset compounded across channels for months, not days. This was a sales and marketing investment, not a content calendar: articles were built for message testing and sales enablement, then repurposed across formats and audiences.

2. PR That Runs Monthly, Guaranteed

Episodic press coverage fades within days. To build category leadership in decentralized data infrastructure, Truth Cartel ran a guaranteed monthly cadence that turned visibility into authority.

We delivered 60+ earned media placements averaging ~5 per month plus 2 to 3 podcasts or AMAs. Coverage spanned Forbes, Newsweek, CoinDesk, CoinTelegraph (Editor’s Choice), TheStreet, and The Defiant, with broad finance syndication. The guarantee: you get PR or your money back. Most agencies bill for effort regardless of results.

The narrative framed the platform as permissionless infrastructure: a decentralized fallback for data access during centralized cloud outages, and a foundational API layer applicable from enterprise applications to AI workloads. By staying in constant dialogue with journalists and publications, Pocket Network moved from “occasional press release” to “go-to quotable source.”

3. Social as Distribution, Not Posting

Social was not used for generic posting. It functioned as a distribution layer for PR and content, a real-time signal of ecosystem activity and industry perspective, and a feedback loop for message testing with users, partners, and investors.

Coordinated daily and synchronized with launches, PR drops, partner announcements, and program milestones, social media delivered ~1.3 million organic impressions, ~70,000 engagements, a ~5% engagement rate (top decile), and a ~15% increase in organic followers over 11 months. Top-performing posts aligned with product launches and partner initiatives, reinforcing credibility through repetition and consistency.

4. Developer Acquisition Through High-Intent Communities

Instead of broad paid acquisition, Truth Cartel built a community-native developer acquisition engine targeting high-intent technical forums. Campaigns ran across subreddits with multi-million combined subscribers, producing 8 front-page placements in 2 months through organic promotion and copywriting, and delivering 100+ qualified developers into the first Pocket Gateway Accelerator Tour (PGAT) pipeline.

PGAT was Pocket Network’s builder program, designed to incentivize developers to create applications on the platform. From hundreds of applications, Pocket Network selected 6 teams for the first cohort. The accelerator produced concrete, platform-native products:

  • Coordination networks for data pipelines where data owners and AI agents collaborate via blockchain-based tooling

  • AI-powered research platforms for high-frequency, low-latency retrieval across DeFi chains

  • Tools for AI agents that make blockchain interactions (e.g., transaction and data queries) viable for enterprises

  • Infrastructure software connecting builders to data storage and compute networks, scalably and interoperably

  • Agentic retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) gateways providing real-time data for AI applications

PGAT was designed to be a long-term developer funnel, a proof point for real platform usage, and a source of downstream content, PR, and partnership opportunities.

5. Influencer Education, Not Promotion

Truth Cartel sourced and negotiated with creators selectively. Curated, not spray-and-pray. Educational videos ran with channels ranging from tens to hundreds of thousands of subscribers, generating ~30,000 targeted views across topic-aligned audiences with calls to action.

These were not promotional placements. They functioned as trust-building explainers for non-developer stakeholders and as evergreen educational assets reused across sales, PR, and community channels.

6. Partner Marketing Built on Real Integrations

Partner marketing focused on real integrations and traffic, not logo placement. Truth Cartel coordinated co-marketing with infrastructure and ecosystem partners:

  • Orca (a Solana-based decentralized exchange): joint liquidity incentive campaigns with partner amplification

  • Aerodrome (a Base-chain exchange): aligned incentive campaigns and technical messaging

  • XRPL ecosystem partners: adapted distribution formats to platform-specific rules to reach a larger audience

  • DevDAO Cloud: evolved from PGAT participant to incubated ecosystem partner

  • Additional partners with shared announcements and technical guides

We helped attract new partners, formalize existing relationships, and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements sealed by outcome-driven action plans.

7. International Go-to-Market: Korea

Korea is a high-signal infrastructure market that rewards credibility and sustained presence. On the crypto asset side, a majority of holders and trading activity were in Korea, so cultivating this market was critical to global expansion.

Truth Cartel delivered localized Korean-language content and market-specific storytelling, Korean PR across leading local outlets (e.g., Maeil Business Newspaper), AMAs and community activations with local partners, and on-site support at Korea Blockchain Week. This included executive meeting preparation, live content capture, and partner introductions, augmented by a developer event and an invite-only dinner.

These efforts positioned Pocket Network as a serious, long-term infrastructure player rather than a foreign company passing through.

Why Truth Cartel

This engagement required repeatable systems, cross-channel integration, international execution, and operator-level ownership. For Pocket Network, that meant:

  • No fragmented marketing across a seven-section playbook. One operating partner delivered PR, content, social, developer acquisition, influencer, partners, and international go-to-market as one integrated system.

  • No gap between product launches and market visibility. All news fed every channel simultaneously, compounding results.

  • No guesswork about pipeline or ROI. 100+ qualified developers, 60+ placements, and ~1.3 million impressions delivered with clear attribution across an 11-month engagement.

  • The client didn’t manage a roster or juggle handoffs. They made one call, stated their intent, and the work was done.

The same operating model delivered a 60-day sprint for a publicly listed company, a 12-month full-stack build for a startup in a new industry, and an institutional credibility campaign for a global finance protocol. Our system adapts to your company, not the other way around.
